Linda Kay Christian Davis, born on May 7, 1952, in West Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on July 15, 2024. Linda was a beloved and devoted wife to Tom Davis, who preceded her in death in 2019. She found companionship and love later in life with her significant other, Todd Anderson. She is survived by other longtime friends, Anita Hale, and many cousins.

Linda's academic pursuits led her to achieve two Master’s degrees from Purdue University, showcasing her dedication to education and personal growth. She had a remarkable career with ExxonMobil, where she traveled extensively, experiencing and contributing to the global landscape of the company.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Dr. John E. Christian, of West Lafayette, Indiana. Their legacy lives on through their home, the beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Samara House, which Linda generously donated to Indiana Landmarks.

Linda shared a deep and enduring friendship with Kathy Ballew for over 50 years, a testament to her loyalty and the profound connections she made throughout her life. Linda was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her innate ability to perceive the complexities of others' lives, making her the most thoughtful and generous friend one could have.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers at Family Tree and the Vitas Hospice staff for their compassionate care and support.

In Linda's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived and the kindness and generosity she brought to everyone around her.
