Kelly Jackson

Kelly Lyn Jackson, 16, of West Lafayette, died at 3:10 PM Thursday, Nov. 30, 1978, in St. Elizabeth Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident Monday evening. A native of Bloomington, she had lived at Elkhart and West Lafayette the last ten years.


Miss Jackson was a junior at West Lafayette High School and was a letter winner on the high school swim team during her sophomore year. She was employed at Burger Chef at Purdue University Service Center the past two years. She was a member of the high school prom board, Pep Club member for three years, Girl's Varsity Club and Junior Achievement.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Jackson of West Lafayette. Mr. Jackson is a sales engineer with Dale-Miller Associates; one sister, Tamy (Mrs. R.E.) Hobson of Elkhart; two brothers, Dale Jackson, at home, and Steven Jackson of San Jose, CA; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Annabel Jackson, and two nieces. Service Dec. 2 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, the Rev. Henry DeGraaf officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
