Stephen C. Wemlinger, 41, of West Lafayette, died Friday morning, Nov. 5, 2010, at his residence.
He was born March 18, 1969, in Lafayette, and was the son of the late Charles L. Wemlinger and Melody Neil Butler.
His marriage was to Melissa Mills.
Mr. Wemlinger had worked as a plumber for Purdue University the past 15 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and golfing.
Surviving
are a son, Jalen Mills-Wemlinger and a daughter, Alexis Wemlinger, both
of West Lafayette; a sister, Shannon May (husband: Ted) of Lafayette;
and a brother, Kevin Wemlinger of Phoenix, Ariz.
Also surviving are
his godsisters, Leslie Sharp (husband: John Huggins) and Paige Sharp,
both of West Lafayette. Stephen was preceded in death by a brother,
David Wemlinger.
Visitation will be 4-6:30 p.m. with memorial
service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Soller-Baker Lafayette
Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909, Pastor Ed Morrow
officiating. Those wishing may contribute to the American Diabetes
Association.
