Naylor Mogollon, a loving mother, friend and daughter, passed away from natural
causes at her home in Dallas on Wednesday, March 19. Mogollon, 52, was a 1980
graduate of Lafayette Senior High School in Indiana, and a 1989 graduate of the
University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in
journalism. She was vivacious, lively and a fierce supporter of her children,
leaving a legacy behind in her three children that taught them to not just get
through, but to thrive. Mogollon formerly worked at the Denton
Record-Chronicle, and most recently as a wineologist at La Buena Vida Vineyards
in Grapevine, where she was able to pursue her love of her wine while making
new friends. Mogollon is survived by her children: Briana, 23, of Addison; Adrianna,
21, of Dallas; Andrew, 20, of Flower Mound and her mother Georgia Naylor, of
Columbus, Ohio; and her sisters Diana Hirsch, of Hawaii; and Denise Naylor, of
California.
