Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at Signature Healthcare. Born May 29, 1950
in Danville, IN, she was the daughter of the late A. Daniel and Mary
Jean (Shearer) Ruth. She was a graduate of West Lafayette High School
and attended Purdue University.
She graduated in 1976 from Taylor University with a degree in Christian
Education. She worked in Christian education at Delphi United Methodist
Church in 1976 and Kendallville United Methodist Church in 1977. She
then worked in Christian Education at Congress Street United Methodist
Church from 1978 to 1982. She moved to Holiday, FL in 1982 where she
worked in Christian education for one year at the Methodist Church.
Diana married Rev. William C. "Bill" Kehlhofer on December 31, 1983 in Florida and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2001. She returned to Lafayette in 1989. Diana was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed needlework, ceramics, scrap-booking and cooking. Surviving is her son, Daniel Carl Kehlhofer of Indianapolis, her beloved step-mother, Betty Ruth (husband, Horace "Skip" Jackson) of West Lafayette, her brother, A Daniel Ruth (wife, Elfi) of LaPorte, IN and two sisters, Debra Brewer (husband, Brian) and Donna Stapleton both of West Lafayette.
