Bob Ditamore

J. Robert "Bob" Ditamore 63, of DeKalb, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 12th, 2003 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb,IL.

 

Bob was born on July 27th, 1940 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of John W. and Martha E. (Hesler) Ditamore.

 

Bob was a partner at Ditamore West Investment Services in Sycamore, and formerly the Director of the DeKalb Park District.  

He was a graduate of West Lafayette High School, received his Bachelor's Degree at Purdue University, and his Master's Degree at the University of Illinois.  He was a member of First Lutheran Church in DeKalb and the President of the Congregation. He was also a member of the Kishwaukee Country Club and a veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea.  

Fun fact about Bob's life, he played basketball at West Lafayette High School, Purdue University and the United States Army.
