Sherry Forey

 

I’m so sorry to share that Sherry Forey passed away today. It was peaceful, and painless, and she was surrounded by people that loved her.

Sherry seemingly arrived in my life out of nowhere. Like an aunt I never knew I needed. She was my biggest fan always encouraging me to live the life I wanted and supporting me every step along the way.

She was down to try just about anything and brought a playful energy that always brightened the room. She was an unapologetic cat lady that only matched her love for her fur babies with her love for her people, and I’m so grateful that I could count myself among them.

Technically, we were barely related as second cousins, but Sherry

is a testament to the fact that the people that matter most in our lives are the ones that show up for you. And I could always count on Sherry being there for me.

I will deeply miss her thoughtfulness, her wit, her great conversations, and her empathy. She was a good one. One of the best. And we should all be so thankful for her impact on this world.
