Rita I. Keene
Rita I. Keene was called home on Monday, December 8, 2014. She was a resident of Indianapolis, and a long time resident of West Lafayette. She was born on May 21, 1929 in Martinez, CA to the late Maurel and Ruth (Parker) Rabenstein. Rita was a teacher for over 30 years for the West Lafayette School Corporation where she touched so many lives.Rita is survived by daughter, Susan Keene (Bill Dunham) of Indianapolis, IN; son, CWO5 USN RET Robert (Debra) Keene, of Reston,VA; brother William (Sandra) Rabenstein of Golden, CO, and three grandchildren, Sean Dunham, Megan Keene and Shannon Keene. She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Ronald L. Keene (2006); sister, Kay Bell, and a brother, Robert Rabenstein.
