Judi Ross, 75, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Ft. Myers, Fl.

She was born May 24, 1942, in New York City, NY, to the late Oliver Cromwell and Betti Scott Heller.

Judi graduated from West Lafayette High School, West Lafayette, IN and Indiana Business College with an associates degree.

On August 7th, 1961, she married Robert "Bob" Ross in Indianapolis, Indiana and he survives.

She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where she previously served as a deacon. She was also a member of the Lafayette Country Club, Fiddlesticks Country Club and Legends Country Club, as well as the American Legion.

Judi enjoyed sewing, reading, shopping, floral arranging, cooking and spending time with her family.

Judi, along with her husband Bob are the founders of Twin City Electric, the business they started in 1968, nearly 50 years ago. Judi's greatest love was being with her family. She would make dinner every Sunday and everyone was welcome. She was married to the love of her life for 56 years. Judi and Bob were a true testament of love and a beautiful example of love and devotion to all. Their life together was so full. No one could ask for a better wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was truly the "Wind Beneath Our Wings"

Surviving along with her husband are her children Shari Mooney (Cliff), Kristi Stine (Bill), and Kathi Bennett (Jim). Her Brother Bill Cromwell (Kamisah), Australia, sisters, Jocelyn Pratt (Vernal) Oahu, Hawaii, Janet Hendrickson (Monte) Seabrook, Texas. Grandchildren are Kristin Mooney (Jerum Markley), Scott Mooney (Sara), and Brooke Mooney, Kortni Bennett, Kloi Stine, & Willow Stine.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on August 14, 2017 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor Lucia Oerter officiating. Private interment will follow service.
