Beth Louise Mast, 46, of Fortville, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on December 20, 1968 in West Lafayette to Richard and Sandra Shoemaker. She graduated from West Lafayette High School, earned a BS from Hanover College, and a Master's in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She was also a BASI Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor. Beth will be remembered as an Entrepreneur, Scholar, Adventurer, Motivator, Traveler, Debater and Seeker. She loved life and faced challenges fearlessly. Beth was a ninja warrior princess who fought cancer and sought and advocated for non-traditional treatments and therapies for cancer patients. Her friends know her presence, encouragement, inspiration and "stuff Beth says" will be with them always. Beth is survived by her husband Steven K. Mast; son Oliver K. Mast; mother Sandra K. Shoemaker; father Richard L. Shoemaker; sister Tanya A. Fenner; brother-in-law Christopher K. Fenner; nephew Samuel B. Fenner; mother-in-law Margaret K. Mast; brothers-in-law Kevin J. Mast and Brian L. Mast and her Golden Retriever Lola. A Celebration of Beth's life will take place this summer.
