James Speck
James "Jim" Lytle Speck, age 69, of Trego, Wisconsin, died at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Heritage Health Care.
Born on December 18, 1942, in West Lafayette, he was the son of the late Merril Speck and Florice Speck.
He graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1960 and received a Master of Education from Purdue University in 1969.
He married Madonna Barbour in 1966 in Lafayette, and she preceded him in death on September 8, 2007.
He was a school teacher at North Salem Middle School in Salem, Indiana, and also was a Pre-Law Advisor at Purdue University for many years.
He was active with the Democratic Party. He loved fishing and caring for his rescue animals.
Surviving is his son, James Merril "Jim" Speck of West Lafayette.
