Sorry your gone Zvi. I think about you. Shalom.
ReplyDeleteI was there that day. It was a rainy afternoon so we practiced in the gym. Zhu wasn't the best player but he was unfailingly cheerful and worked hard. For nearly 50 years I have carried you with me. As the first of now what are many lost friends and loved ones you have always been with me. I went on to fulfill the dream of acting as we discussed and I am sorry your journey was too short.Shalom Zvi Shalm young friend.

Zvi was a smiling and cheerful and joking kind of guy, his head and shoulders bobbed a bit when he walked, and the tragedy of him dying was terrible from that day, fifty years ago today, to this day. I remember you often Zvi - bye.
