Beth was a
lovely young lady and I know that her memory will live on in the hearts of her
loved ones! I remember her laugh was contagious! Our prayers go out to her
parents and her children! We are so sorry for your loss! Love and hugs to you
all during this difficult time.
Your family
is in my thoughts and prayers. Beth and I were classmates at WLHS. She will
certainly be missed by many.
I have many
fond memories of growing up with Beth in West Lafayette, IN. These memories
will be treasured. With heartfelt sympathy and kindest thoughts to her family
in this time of sorrow.
I am
saddened by the news of Beth's passing. She was a WLHS classmate of mine. I
pray her family and friends may find peace and comfort.
I was a
classmate of Beth's from elementary to high school. Her dad was a wonderful
teacher and taught me how to drive. We had many fun times together in our WL
days. My prayers are with your family.
My heart
goes out to everyone that was lucky enough to know Beth. She was a dear friend,
buddy and like a sister to me. I will truly miss her. My deepest sympathy to
her family.
Dick & Joan,
our deepest condolences.Someone sent this to me when my son died and I have
always cherished it. WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU When I must leave you for a little
while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you
through the years But start out bravely with a galiant smile; And for my sake
and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your lonliness on
empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways; Reach out your hand in
comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near, And
never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for YOU in the sky!
I was so
sorry to hear of Beth's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
I, George
Marx, never knew Beth. When she
tragically died, I lived proximate to her, and was fortunate to be able to
attend her funeral. Her father had
been a physical education teacher of mine and I remembered him from those
days. I think that the only other
non-family member from West Lafayette was a classmate of mine from a year
earlier than me.
I remember
feeling a deep admiration for Dick Bossung that day. His wife Joan Bossung (1944-2014) was clearly
in (long-term) poor health, and his primary focus was on supporting her in this
moment which was most difficult for both of them.
The Bossungs
are/were obviously a tight-knit family who support(ed) each other. I’m happy to hear that now, as I write this
in 2025), when “Mr. Bossung” is 88 years old, that he remains active and in
good health!
