Luke Courtenay
Services for Luke Collington Courtenay, 51, were held Saturday, August 21 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home.
Mr. Courtenay was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, living in Cochran for 11 years. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the American Ostrich Association and was employed with Slater Olds-Cadillac-Nissan-GMC in Dublin. He was the son of the late Henry V. Courtenay. Mr. Courtenay died Tuesday, August 27, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Shere Babette Courtenay of Cochran; mother, Ivy Christiana Courtenay of Hawaii; son, Christopher Collington Courtenay of Maryland; stepchildren, William D. Goodwin of Jeffersonville and Tiffany G. Swann of Colorado; son, Luke Ray Courtenay; two brothers, Henry V. Courtenay Jr. of Hawaii and Sean P. Courtenay of Dublin; four sisters, Ivy Courtenay Velte of Maryland, Naomi Courtenay Ringley of Dry Branch, Ruth Courtenay of Hawaii and Moya Courtenay Lateer of California; 13 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Stanley Funeral Home of Dublin had charge of arrangements
